Melanoma on the Back

Melanoma on the back. A disturbingly blue-coloured lesion on the skin of the back of a middle-aged male had gradually grown. Initial biopsy suggested "dysplastic nevus", but total lesion excision showed transformation to malignant melanoma, Clark level II and Breslow depth 0.6 mm.
