Erythema Multiforme

Erythema multiforme. Erythema multiforme is worthy of its name, with wide variation in expression of the lesions. In this case the clinical picture is typical: target lesions (iris lesions) with central bulla formation. The rash is often located on the extensor surfaces. Sometimes a herpes infection triggers erythema multiforme, but in most cases its background remains unknown.
