Merkel cell carcinoma. Merkel cell carcinoma, here on the buccal skin of an old female patient, is one of the most aggressive skin malignancies. Here it has some clinical resemblance to keratoacanthoma. See figure Widespread Merkel Cell Carcinoma with Metastases.
