Dilated Sweat Glands

Dilated sweat glands. Dilatations of sweat glands, i.e. hidrocystomas, on the upper lip. The small lumps may be solitary or clustered in a sweating skin area. Depending on the depth of the ductile obstruction, sweat shines grey through the skin. In the summer and while sweating they are naturally prominent, and this is also mentioned by the patient when interviewed. There is no treatment that works. Freezing with liquid nitrogen may be tried on isolated superficial changes.
