Herpes Zoster in the Pelvic Region

Herpes zoster in the pelvic region.Shingles, or herpes zoster often erupts on the trunk, limited by the midline of the body and confined to the region of one or two dermatomes, but it may also occur on the buttock, forehead, scalp, ear, etc. The vesicles are often bleeding. Sometimes only a few vesicles are developed. Tenderness and aching precede the eruption of vesicles.
