Hook Test of the Distal Biceps Tendon

Hook test of the distal biceps tendon. The patient holds the elbow bent at 90 degrees flexion and in supination. The doctor resists elbow flexion while attempting to "hook" the distal biceps tendon with their finger. In a total rupture, the tendon is not palpable on the hook test.
