Atopic winter foot.Typical "atopic winter foot", juvenile plantar dermatosis, on the lower surface of the big toe is a manifestation of atopic eczema. There is no fungal infection involved. The symptom usually occurs in the winter and heals spontaneously with age in a few years. Atopic winter foot is most common in pre-school-aged boys.
