Sausage Toe

Sausage toe. In a 43-year-old woman, HLA-B27 positive arthritis had been diagnosed a few years earlier. For the last three weeks, the third toe of her left foot has been feeling tender when she walks. The whole toe is swollen in a sausage-like way. The 3rd MTP joint is also swollen and raises the toe slightly.
