Primary Amyloidosis in the Upper Eyelids

Primary amyloidosis in the upper eyelids. Petechial lesions in the upper lids are a pathognomonic sign of primary amyloidosis. The disease was lethal as a result of intestinal problems a few weeks after taking this photograph.
