Cleft lip and palate. Types of cleft lip and/or palate can be divided into two main categories: cleft lip that may be associated with cleft palate, and cleft palate only. Different types of clefts:
- Submucous cleft palate
- Cleft soft palate
- Cleft soft and hard palate
- Cleft lip
- Unilateral cleft lip and palate
- Bilateral cleft lip and palate
