The height of the urinary bladder measures 6.7 cm in a transverse ultrasonographic picture, the width measures 8.7 cm, and the length (in a longitudinal picture) measures 10.4 cm. The estimated minimum recidual urine volume is 0.6 × 10.4 × 6.7 × 8.7 = 364 ml.
