Heimlich Maneuver

Heimlich maneuver. Grasp the patient from behind by putting your hands on the upper abdomen above the navel and thrush forcefully upwards and inwards so that the intra-abdominal pressure rises, the diaphraghm is elevated and pushes the air out of the lungs.
