Erythrodermic Psoriasis

Erythrodermic psoriasis. An exceptionally severe case of erythrodermic psoriasis. The most acute phase with pustules is followed by whole-body scaling with huge plaques. All the skin of the ill and febrile patient is red and very painful. The oral retinoid acitretin was the mainstay of therapy.
