Scleroderma Circumscripta

Scleroderma circumscripta. Scleroderma circumscripta or morphea is an autoimmune disease, limited to the skin. A pale, whitish, often glistening, inelastic and hardened central area is surrounded by a reddish-lilac diffuse ring. The lesions may be multiple. The diagnosis can be confirmed by biopsy.
