Cutaneous Horn

Cutaneous horn. Cutaneous horn, also known as cornu cutaneum, is just a symptom. It can be caused by actinic (solar) keratosis (most common), but also by well-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. Histological examination of a skin biopsy sample confirms the diagnosis. In actinic keratosis, cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen is a good treatment alternative.
