Carcinomatosis of the Lungs

Carcinomatosis of the lungs.A female patient, 58 years of age, mastectomy and removal of the axillary lymph nodes performed in 1991 because of lobular breast cancer. Chest x-ray from June 1996 shows increased pleural shadowing on the left side. There is bilateral accentuation of the interstitial pattern as an indication of lymphangitis carcinomatosa.
