Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Lower Lip

Squamous cell carcinoma of the lower lip. Squamous cell carcinoma in the lower lip. A non-healing, relatively non-tender ulcer that may have a keratinized centre. A dense lump is clearly felt when the lip is palpated between several fingers. The cancer may be preceded by a light-coloured leukoplakia or actinic cheilitis. The patient is urgently referred for further investigations.
