Myxoid Cyst at the Nail Fold

Myxoid cyst at the nail fold. A myxoid cyst may put mechanical pressure on the proximal nail matrix and cause a longitudinal depression on the nail plate. After successful treament of the cyst, the nail returns to its normal shape, provided that the treatment has not damaged the nail's growth area.
