Discoid Lupus Erythematosus

Discoid lupus erythematosus. Oedematous, red, centrally scaling patch with few subjective symptoms in an adolescent female patient. The diagnosis is discoid lupus erythematosus, a cutaneous form of the LE group of collagen diseases. Sunshine is often the main provocative factor.
