Alopecia Areata

Alopecia areata. Alopecia areata affecting only a small area usually heals spontaneously. A widespread form of the condition is usually treatment-resistant. In alopecia totalis, all hair on the scalp is lost, and alopecia universalis means the loss of all hair on the entire body.
