Fixed Drug Eruption

Fixed drug eruption. Fixed drug eruption, erythema fixum may be provoked by several drugs, in this case by phenazone salicylate. The reaction is recurrent a few hours after repeated exposure to the same drug and may show a tendency to enlarge and to occur at new additional sites. A positive skin patch test result with the causative drug on the lesional area is diagnostic.
