Keloid in a Surgical Scar in the Groin

Keloid in a surgical scar in the groin. Intensely erythematous solid nodular keloid scar is formed more easily after a wound infection. Itching may by disturbing. A hypertrophic scar will become clearly lighter and more even with time, but a keloid will become only a little lighter at the most.
