Atopic winter foot.Atopic winter foot (juvenile plantar dermatosis) affects the plantar contact surface on the ventral part of both feet in children, often in young boys. After some years' duration the symptoms disappear spontaneously. This is a manifestation of atopic dermatitis. It is unusual to have a real contact allergy causing this particular symptom.
