Koene's Tumour in the Nail

Koene's tumour in the nail. Koene's tumour is a fibroma that appears under or beside a nail. It interferes with nail growth and irritates the nail wall. Treatment consists of surgical removal. Koene's tumours may be especially associated with the neurocutaneous syndrome tuberous sclerosis. They are, however, very seldom the only manifestation of this condition.
