Folliculitis of the Axillary Region

Folliculitis of the axillary region.Folliculitis is rather common in the axillary region. If there are only a few papules, the differential diagnosis includes an insect bite. Folliculitis can be recognized by the small follicular opening in the middle of a papule where a thin hair shaft may be visible.
