Lichen Planus on the Buccal Mucosa

Lichen planus on the buccal mucosa. Lichen planus on the buccal mucosa (lichen planus oris). In contrast to oral candidiasis, the light-coloured mesh-like pattern cannot be scratched away with a spatula. The same pattern may be visible on the lip, on the margin of the tongue and on the gingivae.
