Pityriasis Rosea on the Chest with Herald Patch on the Upper Arm

Pityriasis rosea on the chest with herald patch on the upper arm. Pityriasis rosea, a common exanthematous eruption on the trunk and proximal parts of the extremities. On the arm a larger oval "herald patch" is seen. This disease is most common in young adults, with the peak of incidence in the late summer. Cure is spontaneous and recurrences exceptional. The idea of probable viral aetiology is widely accepted.
