Sarcoidosis on facial skin. Sarcoidosis on the facial skin appears as bluish-red ill-defined lesion that often feels slightly nodular when palpated. Sarcoidosis is a multi-organ disease of unknown aetiology, often resistant to therapy. The need to treat skin symptoms is mainly cosmetic and the risk-benefit-ratio should be carefully considered before systemic long-term therapies.
