Pityriasis Amiantacea

Pityriasis amiantacea. Pityriasis amiantacea is a thick mass of densely packed scales in the scalp. It is usually a feature of seborrhoeic or atopic dermatitis. There may also be an underlying fungal infection and a specimen for fungal culture is indicated.
