Patchy dermatitis on the female neck. Patchy dermatitis on the female neck is typically caused by contact with nail polish containing toluene sulfonamide formaldehyde resin. During many years of contact the patient has been sensitized to this resin. Change to a polish with a different content eliminated the problem.
