Atopic dermatitis on the root of the thigh.Tinea at the root of the thigh is quite rare in a young man; more often a rash in this area is atopic dermatitis, as is the case here. The patient often is overweight, and atopic dermatitis can also be found in other skin areas. As in tinea, the margins of an eczema can also be more active than the centre.
