Cochrane review[Abstract]1 included 7 studies with a total of 2464 women or couples. Compared to intercourse without ovulation prediction, urinary ovulation detection increased the chance of live birth (RR 1.36, 95% CI1.02 to 1.81, 1 RCT, n=844). This suggests that if the chance of a live birth without urine ovulation prediction is 16%, the chance of a live birth with urine ovulation prediction is 16% to 28%.
