Psoriatic plaques with Auspitz sign. Psoriatic plaques, silvery layers of parakeratotic tissue. Tearing of the scale may induce minor bleeding from the tip of dermal papillae extending up to the very superficial layer of the epidermis in psoriatic skin (Auspitz sign).
