Biparietal Diameter

Biparietal diameter. Biparietal diameter (BPD) is measured from the outer edge of the upper parietal bone to the inner edge of the lower parietal bone of the foetus, in as symmetrical a plane as possible at the central echo line and the lateral ventricles.
