Lichen Sclerosus Et Atrophicus (LSA) on the Skin of the Foreskin

Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus (LSA) on the skin of the foreskin. The skin resembles pale scar tissue and is thin and glistening. There may be itching. As the skin becomes more fragile the prepuce narrows. The term balanitis xerotica obliterans may then be used. The diagnosis can be verified with a biopsy sample.
