Urticaria of the hands. The size of urticarial wheals is highly variable; in this picture, the wheals are very small. They change location within hours. Local urticaria may also be caused by immediate contact allergy. The skin eruption depicted here could very well be caused e.g. by latex allergy (latex-containing protective gloves) or by contact allergy to wheat flour in a baker.
