Large Cell Carcinoma in the Upper Lobe of the Left Lung

Large cell carcinoma in the upper lobe of the left lung. A consolidation with a diameter of little over one centimetre was found in the upper lobe of the left lung in a 49-year-old woman. The diagnosis was established as large cell carcinoma by fine-needle biopsy. The left upper lobe was removed. There was no recurrence during the follow-up time of well over 10 years.
