Lichen Planus in the Armpit

Lichen planus in the armpit. The clinical picture on flexural surfaces differs from that of the most common locations of the disease. See also the picture of lichen in the inguinal region. On flexular skin, lichen planus responds well to topical corticoids, but it is important to control the treatment response. Cave! the adverse effects of glucorticoids on the flexural surfaces. After healing, dark patches will remain on the skin for several months and these should not be treated with glucocorticoids.
