Aphthous Stomatitis

Aphthous stomatitis. Aphthous stomatitis appears as painful whitish ulcerations which are a few millimetres in size. The aetiology is not known. Topical corticoids give relieve. The rare Behçet's syndrome should be considered as a differential diagnosis.
