Melanoma

Melanoma. Dermatoscopic image. Breslow classification 0.3 mm. If there is no clearly discernible pigment network, the lesion should be removed. Benign pigment naevi may often be dark at the centre but the pigment can be thinned down by removing some epithelium from the lesion surface with tape.
