Hypersensitivity to fusidic acid or other components of the formulation (topical ointment contains lanolin).
Use Cautiously in:
OB: Use during pregnancy only if potential maternal benefit justifies potential fetal risk;

Pedi: Ophthalmic formulation not indicated for use in neonatal conjunctivitis.
(Adults and Children ): Apply to affected area 3–4 times daily.
