Final Test 2 is a multiple-choice examination with 4, 5, or 6 options, which also includes 26% in alternate item format, designed to assess your baseline nursing knowledge and evaluate your ability to apply that knowledge to various clinical situations and to items presented in a simulated NCLEX-RN^® examination. Self-analysis of your scores will help you prioritize what to study by identifying your individual problem areas.

Written to reflect the content framework and the purpose of the NCLEX-RN^® Text Plan (to measure a candidate's ability to practice safely and effectively as a Registered Nurse in an entry-level position), Final Test 2 can be used as preparation and review for the licensure examination. It can also be used for review by nurses returning to active practice and by international nurses who are graduates of nursing schools outside of the United States and are preparing for qualifying examinations.

Each question on Final Test 2 was field tested in a pilot test given to NCLEX-RN^® candidates representing a wide geographic distribution, as well as various types of nursing programs.
