Jane Meschan Foy, MD, FAAP , is an American pediatrician, educator, and advocate known for her work in integrating mental health care into pediatric practice. She served for many years at Wake Forest School of Medicine and has held several leadership roles within the American Academy of Pediatrics, including serving on its Board of Directors. Dr. Foy has focused extensively on improving mental health services for children, especially in primary care and underserved communities. She edited Managing Mental Health Concerns in Pediatrics: A Clinical Support Chart, a practical guide that helps pediatricians identify and manage common mental health concerns in children and adolescents using evidence-based approaches.
