Dose Range/Adult Daily Dose

• Range: 50–300 mg/d; dosage: 75 mg/d po in divided doses up to 150 mg/d or 50–100 mg hs; increase by 25–50 mg to 150 mg (in hospital: start 100 mg/d up to 300 mg)

Use/Common Side Effects (CSE)

• Use: Depression; unlabeled: chronic pain
  CSE: Blurred vision, dry eyes, dry mouth, sedation, hypotension, constipation, ARRHYTHMIAS

Geriatric & Dose Considerations

• Use caution: Orthostatic hypotension, sedation, confusion (falls); CV disease; titrate slowly
