Write It Down Documenting use of NG tube medications
In your notes, record:
instillation of medication
date and time of instillation
if the patient refuses the medication
if omitted or if withheld and the reason
patient education
dose
patient's tolerance of the procedure.
On the intake and output sheet, note the amount of fluid instilled.
