Action

  • Stimulates bladder afferent pathways, causing release of nitrogen oxide from afferent neurons which controls lower urinary tract function. Also has anti-inflammatory, anti-ischemic analgesic, and vasodilatory properties.

  • Prevention of tissue necrosis from extravasation injuries.
