Breastfeeding: Safety Unknown. Perphenazine produced in low levels in milk. No adverse developmental effects have been reported when other phenothiazines are used alone. Monitor the infant for excessive drowsiness during breastfeeding and for developmental milestones, especially if other antipsychotics are used concurrently.
