- Topamax, topiramate (generic)
- Start 25 mg PO bid x 1 wk, increase 50 mg/day qwk until 100 mg bid; then increase 100 mg/day qwk until 200 mg bid ; doses > 400 mg/day rarely more effective
- Qudexy XR, Trokendi XR
- Start 50 mg PO qd x 1wk, increase by 50 mg/day at weekly intervals for first 4 weeks, then 100 mg/day for weeks 5 to 6; target dose is 400 mg PO qd

- Start 25-50 mg/day x 1 wk; increase 25-50 mg/day qwk until 100-200 mg PO bid; doses > 400 mg/day rarely more effective
- Qudexy XR, Trokendi XR
